Induction w/o being effaced or dilated ??

Any ladies with induction birth stories who weren’t dilated or effaced (prior to induction)?

My SIL water broke and she wasn't effaced or dilated. now she has a healthy and happy baby girl :)

Yeah I was. Baby did not want to come out. And did not really tolerate labor all that well. I did end up delivering vaginally. But I went in on a Sunday night at 8pm and didn't deliver her until Tuesday evening at 4:29 PM.

Yea I was completely closed up when induces due to pre eclampsia. Cervidel, cytotech, pitocin. 3 days later they tried to send me home but there was no way that was happening as I lived kinda far (lots of traffic) from the hospital and it was a holiday weekend. We scheduled a c section and maybe 2 hours after they tried to send me Home, my water broke! Still had to do a c section for other complications. But it was a looooong 3 days!

I wasn't at all. I was given cervidil and had a very successful labor and delivery, never needed pitocin. delivered vaginally about 15 hours later 😊
