This has been a really rough week for me and baby girl, 3 doctor’s visits and one hospital visit. I was tempted to call the shower off. Then the day before the shower it snowed and though it was only maybe 2-3in, people in the south freaked out as usual and a lot of my guest were considering not coming.

The place were I was having my shower wasn’t even sure if they were going to open. They did not confirm that I could move forward with my shower until the day of, and only 2 and a half hours before it was supposed to start...

I wish that was all but to top it all off. I’d brought this beautiful dress and took it have alternations done and was told I could pick it up Friday. Well Friday they did not open due to the weather. I thought no biggie, I’ll get it Saturday morning before the shower. I called 5 times and didn’t get an answer so I drove there and again they were closed. I never got my dress...

I had to wear the only other dress I could fit that looked appropriate. I was so close to just breaking in tears. But I didn’t, I held it together.

I loved how my shower turned out. Even though 6 of my guest were not able to make, it I had a good turn out overall. I felt pretty and loved. Noelle was showered with a lot of gifts and many of the things were actually from my registry.

I’m so glad it’s over though and now I can focus on nesting and trying to relax before she gets here.
