When you go out to eat as a family and you both work who pays ?

Just curious!! 
if I invite and i reallyyy want to go somewhere I pay , if he invites he pays .. lol he makes waaaay more than me though so he always offers to pay anyway but I still pay when I know I have enough money to or if I know he’s limited on money 🙂

This is why split accounts when married is so weird to me. 😖 having one account just makes sense. Lol just pull out the card and pay. Done. No debating about who pays. But to each their own 🤷🏼‍♀️

We tend to take turns taking each other out whether it’s for meals or dates. The last few months though he’s always paid as I had to leave my job but I fully intend to treat him to a nice fancy expensive date when I finally get a new job!

We have a joint account for bills & our own acts for our own money. For us it’s usually who’s idea it was eat out. Or who has the money at the time. It just depends.
