I donate to military organizations. Anything that helps veterans, I'm all for!

I've donated money to help protect the rainforest. However no matter what organization you donate to make sure to do your research!!! You don't want to be donating money to an organization that pockets 90% of the money and only uses 10% of the donations to put towards the cause.

We donate to many charities... Often the fire department, cancer charities, children's charities, animal charities, lots of military charities... Any charity with an actual need, or that is close to our hearts, we will donate to when we can. As for why, we both realize that change doesn't just happen. Donating, volunteering, or just being a good neighbor and other things of that nature are all part of being in a community. However... we always research a charity before we donate! We like to know where are money is going and how it will be used.
