A baby ?

Im 17 and is going to graduate in 5 months .. i turn 18 in a few weeks and im thinking about having a baby .. i see alot of young mothers who have kids and do fine (15-17) years old but since imma be 18 i think i would be okay .. should i wait until my 20’s ?

Experience life, enjoy being young. There is plenty of time to be a mother. Figure out what you want in life...and go for it. Get your life together financially. It will make motherhood more enjoyable 💕

I got pregnant at 17 and had my son at 18. I didn't try for a baby but I didn't use my brain and try to prevent it either so there I was. 
I don't regret my son at all. 
However if I could have waited until my 20s I would have. My sons father and I are no longer together.

I’d definitely say wait until mid twenties. Just because you see teenage parents doing okay doesn’t mean it’s okay. They will most likely be getting a lot of help from other people and have financial difficulties and they have to put their lives on hold. So yeah, it can work for some people I’m not saying every teenage parents’ life sucks but it’s not ideal. People are not mature at 18, they shouldn’t have another persons life in their hands.

Wait. Things in life are VERY expensive and having a child is one of those. Just because YOU think someone seems fine they may truly be struggling you never know what happens behind closed doors

Do you have a career going? Good job prospects? Seriously my parents paid soooooooo much money on my sisters kids when she was going through a divorce. She was very lucky. Make sure you can deal with the financial part of it because no one else is going to help you with every little financial thing. Car, apartment rent, food, baby stuff! Seriously think about this before you get pregnant.

I think you should wait until you are in your mid to late twenties. It will be better for you and the baby. Babies need a stable home and parents who have everything figured out. Although it may feel like you are ready, you should also take some time to get to know yourself, and most importantly, have some fun!
