Antibiotics while on birth control?
Hello loves!
I’m currently on birth control (I have been for 5 months), and I have just started taking minocycline (oral antibiotics) for my acne! Is it true that any type of antibiotics will lessen the affect of birth control? My dermatologist told me to be careful, yet when I did my own research, I shouldn’t worry unless it is rifampin.
What are your opinions? Has anyone had problem with their birth control pill while taking antibiotics?
