Do I calculate ovulation day based on my last cycle

My last cycle due to miscarriage was 26 day cycle. We started TTC this month so I’m not sure to go by my last cycle OR assume a regular 28 day cycle. If I go by last 26 day  cycle, I ovulated on the 4/5 of January but otherwise if I assume a 28 day cycle more like the 8th! Thoughts please & thanks

Do you have any cycles to go off of from before? That’s where I’m starting. Typically my cycles before my loss were 25 days. My cycle that started with my MC was only 22 days. So I may start testing with OPK’s a few days earlier this cycle but I’m hoping my body goes back to is previous cycles. Time and BBT will tell.

I would defianatly use opks next month to pin point..... for right now go off 28 day cycle to be safe...that's what i do.
