Painting to get past everything

So I miscarried on the 26th and I have been painting so much since then. At first I was really sad, but now I can honestly say I that my art has been a real outlet for me. I had this crazy thought that I would create a painting for my future rainbow baby (I am not giving up). I painted over a painting that I did that was pretty lame (same theme, but it needed an upgrade). Anyway, here is my owl, I think I will probably continue to edit this painting, but it is really coming along.

I want to copy these kind of colorful trees and put them in the background. Good idea?

However, I may want it more colorful.

I imagine I will edit this more... but this is my owl picture now. 🙂
