Did your OB give you a earlier scan after a miscarriage? I miscarried 3 months ago at 9w and when I called about this pregnancy I still have to wait the 7-8 weeks to be seen for 1st visit

7-8 weeks is normal, before that they really can’t  see anything so it could cause you to worry even more.

I had an early scan at 5 weeks 2 days because I had an ectopic my last pregnancy. They couldn't see a "baby" thus early but just want to mainly make sure there wasn't anything in the tube.

I had to wait. I had a miscarriage back in oct. I’m pregnant again and assumed my Ob would want to do scans on me earlier and she still had me wait until I was a little over 7 weeks for a scan. Some doctors won’t do early scan or weekly visits unless you’ve had recurrent miscarriages.

nope, I've have 3 miscarriages in the past and was told I was high risk for a miscarriage with this pregnancy and still didn't get my first ultrasound until 18w3d

Mine is letting me come in tomorrow at 5wk for a blood test... I know they can’t see anything until around 7wk, but they were totally accommodating to do some blood work when I pressed them and expressed my concerns.
Last time, before my miscarriage, I had called at 5wks and asked to be seen because I KNEW I’d need progesterone, and they told me “no” several times... and then I lost my baby. So... I wasn’t letting them say no this time!
I’d call them back & tell them they HAVE to see you at least for blood work!

Nope. I didn’t have my first scan til 12wks. But I also had issues with my first appt and ended up switching hospitals.

I was given one at 5w6d after my miscarriage and then another at 7w6d before my regular gyno has me start seeing the ob doctors at his practice.
