Has anyone started on their nursery?

I can’t wait but in a 1 bedroom apartment with a twin bed and a queen bed, I’m not sure how to accommodate a crib. We are probably using a pack n play instead of a crib for the first year while our situation gets better. Is anyone having space issues too? I mostly see people setting up an entire room for the baby and they look sooo amazing. I wish we could afford it

Girl I’ve been there. My first son we didn’t even have a room of our own. My second born, I had a room for my big boy, but we rented with roommates and I only had space for a bassinet and no money to do otherwise. Now we basically own (we don’t pay any rent because of a job perk of his ❤️) temporarily a 1048 sq ft 2 bed 2 bath. My boys have a room, and now we’re having a girl. I’m redoing their room and dedicating one closet and 1/3 of our room to our little girl until she’s ready to share with her brothers until I finish my schooling and we buy a house. I used to envy all these big, beautiful, wonderfully decorated nurseries... still do, they’re gorgeous. But believe me, you make due with what you have as a parent, and you won’t feel any lesser about yourself for not giving your little boy a teal and gray fox nursery in your big house. You’ll get there one day ❤️
When we buy our home, I intend on giving each room a hand painted mural on the wall! Goals keep you focused 😬

I've  seen really cute closet nurserys on pinterest. If our house had closets I'd  consider that. Not doing a room for bub til after 1 year old.   Some folks just dedicate a corner or a room as nursery as well. Minimalism can help you keep your cool and stay organized. =)  So if you want lookup closet nursery or corner nusery.

We have started our but only because we have a dog who is high anxiety and doesn’t like change so we were told to introduce things in small doses. We just set up the crib yesterday and let our dog smell it and chill near it. We’ll be setting up the rest slowly.

we have a one bedroom apartment too so there's no nursery, and I will also use a pack n play. I have a list of things I need on a private Amazon registry so I can buy it all quickly when it gets closer to the due date, but I'm certainly not thinking about decor or anything. I'm a minimalist anyway.

We have started planning ours, but haven’t actually started. I do have the crib and rocker, but they’re currently at my mom’s. We want ours set up right away because we know we will have a lot of out of state guests, and we want someplace for baby to nap that is on a separate floor from everybody else. Baby will sleep in our room during the night.

we set up a whole room with baby 1 now we aren't worrying about it  this baby will stay in our room the first few months then figure it out...either shared room for the kids or baby stays with us longer...dependa on sleep patterns.

4th kid here. #3 shared our room for 6 mos in a rock n play before moving to her crib in a room shared with her sister. She had reflux so laying flat wasn’t great for her. 
Babies don’t take up much space. I’m a minimalist and like to keep it simple. Just the basics. The good news is you have a bedroom instead of a studio so you can put her to bed at a good time and still watch tv. ;) I’m a big fan of teaching the baby to sleep early on as it pays dividends later.

Yes and no. I’ve been finding a lot of good deals on nursery furniture and a few other things so I buy as I find. But as for getting it set up, not yet lol.
