How long does it (typically) take to move on from a long term relationship???

My relationship was about 3 Years long. We’re both in that place when you’re on the fence about whether you should fully commit to moving on 💯 or give it another try. 
Feeling lost :( 
Ps: it’s been 4 months since we broke up

I think it varies... I was cheated on... it took me few months to accept that the relationship was actually over... once I did accept that I didn't want to be the lying cheater I was fine in a month or so...  soon I found my now husband... I think the first major step is accepting that this relationship is over and there is no reviving it... after that it becomes much easier to move on

for me is was really fast..
but i was really ready to end it. 
we spend 7 years trying to make it work 
i was scared to break up but once we finally did it.. i felt free.. it helped that i started a new relationship soon after..
it can be harder to recover if you are alone 
so always confide in friends/family

it’s going to be different for every person and relationship. time is not always a measure of love, and the way a relationship ends can also say a lot about how long it takes to move on. the moving on doesn’t truly begin until you’ve come to terms with the fact that the relationship is over and that it’s not coming back. once you stop missing them and wishing you could make it work again or give it another shot, you’re on the road to moving on. there’s a lot of grieving and soul searching and self improvement that typically comes after the end of one relationship and before the start of the next one. if we learn nothing from our past relationships, we’ll never make it to one that lasts forever. good luck babe, a broken heart is the hardest wound to heal.
