Elective induction

So I've been getting told I will be going into labor "anyday now" for four weeks. Im sick, tired, sore, uncomfortable. I am full term. I have an apt today with my midwife would i beable to ask her to just schedule an induction or will she just laugh? Im seriously ready to meet my baby! Im ready to beg to have him already im sure plenty of you moms and moms to be understand what I mean
