Potty train before 1?

Question

Has anyone ever potty trained before their baby turned 1? I’ve been reading a lot of articles and apparently people used to pretty often and would have their children fully potty trained before 1.5yrs now, I guess that’s not the case. 
He’s 9m now and can stand up, and pull himself up on things, but no walking yet..just crawling. 
So I’m wondering if anyone has tried it and were you successful??

Early potty training is not independent. That is, it is more about them telling you they need to, than about them taking themselves. I still haven't potty trained my 2.5 year old, though my 4 year old was trained at about age 2 (by the nanny). Look up elimination communication for ideas and tips. Don't set your expectations too high!

I don't know about one, but my little girl was potty trained by her 2nd birthday. My son on the other hand was closer to 3. I have a 16mth old who pretends to use the little potty ever time I go pee so in hoping she potty trains early too.
