Really Bad Pain When Having SEX

Okay so this whole month has been weird. I get my period at the beginning of the month, bad pain 3 days in, then diminishes-done. However, this whole month I've had cramps and weird pain on my right side of my ovary maybe vagina/lower abdomen? And every time my SO and I have tried to have sex we haven't been able to because the pain is so bad like he's hitting something on my right side like an inflamed muscle or something. I also now have pain walking as well down there. anyone been through this? side note: my bf has also noted period(blood) smell when we've tried having sex throughout this month. SO FRUSTURATED ...BTW it's not him hitting my cervix
