Will the hospital let my SO shower while I’m in labor?

Question

Probably a silly question but my SO is a welder and gets super dirty at work. If I were to go into labor while he’s at work do you think he would be able to shower in my bathroom? (they are private rooms with full bathrooms) 
Would they even let him in the room looking so dirty?
I’ll ask this when we do our hospital tour in a few weeks but it’s just something I’ve been wondering.

The hospital I will be delivering at does not allow birthing partners to use the bathrooms in the rooms as they monitor everything. However, they have facilities for them to use. I would definitely ask on your hospital tour.

We had a private room where you stay at from the time you get there until the time you leave. My husband is a welder too and he was allowed to shower there, I would just ask!0

Usually yes but if not he can when they move you to the mothers resting/recovery room (after baby ) he can for sure then

My husband was able shower in my room. At the hospital I delivered in you get a private room and that's where you stay unless you need a C-section. So I got all checked in and delivered the baby in the same room, then they just sterilized the room and cleaned up my bed while I was in the bathroom after birth. Baby and I never left the room until it was time to go home.

if it's a private room with your own shower I don't see why not. the room I was in  didn't have a bathroom (I don't know why they put me in it, the floor was empty and there were rooms with full bathrooms 😑) but there were bathrooms for the floor and my hubby was allowed to use it to shower too

My husband is a welder too! My hospital let him without a problem. He was only at work for a couple hours so thankfully he wasn’t too dirty. He didn’t want to miss a thing just washed his hands and face until after baby was born  ask during your hospital visit- they shouldn’t mind  Can try looking on your hospitals website if their labor and delivery rooms have showers
