When is the best time to have a baby shower ?

Just wondering when everyone is planning on having their shower (if your having one) I wanted to have mine when I'm 24 weeks. Is that too early? In worried about having one later because I'm at a higher risk for pre-term labour due to some medical conditions.

I'm having mine towards the end of October. Going to do a Halloween themed shower. 🎃

It's so hard for December babies because of the expense everyone puts into the holidays.   Maybe early November before it gets crazy?

I think 7 months would be good cuz then you are showing but not too uncomfortable to move around a lot.

I'm thinking like August! My best friend is getting married in September so I don't want to intrud on her thing.. But at the same time if someone invited me to a baby shower in November this would be my face: 😒. Too close to the holidays!

My sister's was at 8 months... My nephew came early and he was there for the shower.

I'm having mine either in October or November.

I'm having mine in September. But that's only because I'm going back to NH and have to lug everything back to Fort Bragg since that's the time my husband gets a four day and some leave.

I'm having one in September and one in October (different cities to make it easier on both families).  Due early December. That way I should have time to organize everything and buy anything else I need.

I haven't even started having this discussion yet! But my husband said my sister said something about aiming for October. I start a new job in August, so I don't know when it will be a good time because I don't know what hours I'll be working until then.

I honestly have no idea! I'm still so early on to (9 weeks 3 days). Honestly I would say have it when you're comfortable having it.
