Is my Nuvaring in far enough?

I'm new to the nuva ring i just started it today & i am not sure if i put it in far enough. I pushed it in as far as i could with my finger. It feels comfortable (i cant feel it inside of me at all) but im nervous that its not in far enough & may slide out because i can easily touch it if i put my finger in my vagina. Is it normal to be able to easily feel it or should i try to push it up further? I just wanna make sure its in right & working correctly.
