JUNEL FE 24 ? Late period? Spotting? What is this

So I just started my birth control about a month an a half 2 months ago and I would say I have sex regularly not over doing it but maybe 3-4 times a week at the most and since I’ve been taking them everyday at the same time pretty much perfectly. I missed my period by 6 days so far. I’ve heard a lot of females say they have very irregular periods on this pill or even miss their periods entirely and even if yourself is not on this pill I would just like some answers on if I should be worried? The pill is to be 97-99% effective when taken correctly and today I saw that I was spotting a bit. I think I should be alright but I need a little reassurance, knowing that whatever anyone says may not be able to help me personally but if you’ve had experiences like this it would be nice to know that maybe I’m just freaking for no reason.
