Implantation? Period? Help!

So yesterday I got what I thought was my first period since getting off bc in September. Yesterday morning I had very light brown discharge. I was cramping a little so I put on a light pad. As the day progressed it went from pink, to red, to pinkish brown only when I wiped. There was hardly anything on my pad. Today, I’m having pinkish brown discharge only when I wipe there’s nothing on my pad. What should I make out of this? Should I wait to see what happens as the day goes by? Or is my body still trying to regulate naturally? 😩😩
