Cheap pregnancy tests???

Question

Ok so my AF is 9 days late... I'm having several symptoms etc and I really do think that I'm pregnant (I have 3 older children and I feel very much the same as I did with them) but I've taken 3 tests and they have all come back negative... The last one I took was 3 days ago. All the tests are the $1 tests from the Dollar General though and I'm wondering how accurate they are. Do I need to buy a more expensive test or just keep waiting? I'm so lost! But I don't want to just keep throwing away more money on tests for nothing... Any advise would be great!

With my other kids I was never ttc... I was actually always trying to prevent lol but so I was always 6+ weeks pregnant before I tested.... My it just takes me longer to show positive on a test??? My friend got negatives for 2 wks after AF was late and then one test finally came up positive. She is 16wks pregnant now :)

Ive always taken the dollar store pregnancy tests and I found out I was pregnant 2 days before my missed period with a dollar store test, I'm now 18 weeks pregnant

I feel like thy don't work until after your missed period. With DS 1 I didn't get a positive until a week late and I was very faint with a cheapie. I am due for AF the 4th and everything in me say I'm pregnant. Except the dollar store test t says bfn.

those should work fine.  check the expiration date to be sure.
