D&C Experiences?

Question

I want to hear other ladies experience with getting a D&C; done. I’m scheduled to get one tomorrow & quite nervous as it will be my first surgery. Rip my precious baby, momma loves you.

It's quite straight forward but just very emotional before and after surgery .. I didn't have any pain as such jus abit of light cramping .. and I didn't have any bleeding after till my af came 5 weeks later .. I'm sorry for your loss I had mine the beginning of sept 2017 I'm currently on day four of my two week wait .. praying for a bfp January

I have mixed feelings about mine. The doctor who actually performed the d/c and my anesthesiologist were great. My nurse was amazing. We were there for 14 hours
But the lady who was there to draw my blood was awful. I have panic attacks with needles and was already an emotional wreck that day, and she kept telling me that she needs to tend to a baby and if I can’t calm down she will leave. There was another nurse who came into my room to tell my nurse how great the baby next door is doing (they put you on the maternity floor for a d/c atleast where I was) and how she has to come see how adorable it is. there was a giant picture of a baby across the hall from my room that I could see from my bed. Babies crying. It was hard. I don’t understand why they would put a woman losing her child on the floor filled with new mothers and babies. 
The surgery itself was fine. Had a bit of cramping and did bleed a lot. For a few days it felt like my belly was filled with air. Going from laying to sitting and vice versa felt really weird, like I couldn’t bed properly with my bloated belly.  
Just be prepared for the emotional aspect of it, that was the hard part for me.
