My baby is 6 weeks and if I pump and put it in a bottle I do 4oz but I only figured it out because I gave her 3oz and she still wanted to breastfeed after so I figured she would take 4 and she did the next time I gave her a bottle

was wondering because my daughter seems to eat less than what i think she needs (after googling how much 1 m olds eat)
i wouldn't restrict her eating no matter how much she wanted.

My 5 week old eats 5oz every 3-4 hours. Sometimes she’ll take another 3 oz an hour and half later. She was 8.6lbs and 21 in at birth. Today at the doctor she was 11.10 lbs and 23 1/4 inches. I just feed her whenever she’s hungry.

as much as they want to, anytime they want to.  a one month old should not be restricted from food nor have a schedule.  cluster feeding is absolutely normal ESPECIALLY right now at one month, as they start going through growth spurts/leaps. our daughter eat 3 OZ EVERY HOUR DURING THE DAY, 3 oz EVERY 2 HRS AT NIGHT, until she was 6 months old. and she's 16 months old now,  and average weight of 23 lbs and 32 inches long. there's no limit as far as food goes for a newborn. if they cry, they are changed and burped and still cry, offer boob or bottle.  if they take it, they were hungry

Now if your breastfeeding I always let her stop when she wants she will usually never go over 15/20 mins per session
