Ovulation pain?

I am the day before I usually ovulate and I'm having really bad pain/aches in my lower back on the left side. Could this be related to ovulation? If so, what can I do to relieve it?

I have had this severe pain since last 7 years. Its so severe that I cant even stand. I have to sit down. It wakes me up at night. My gynaec recently prescribed me lo loestrin fe contraceptive pills. I took it fr a mnth nd still continuing. Im felt so much better. No waking at nights. No crying. No severe cramps. Just hoping that it remains d same.

I rt horrible cramps and sharp pains when I ovulate. It normally stays in my lower abdomen but sometimes wraps around to my back. I take ibuprofen, drink a lot of water and try to stay away from caffeine (which makes cramps worse) but it usually just talkes time. After 12-24 hours it's usually completely gone.

I get the same pain. It can be as bad as period cramps sometimes. I usually just take an Aleve and that helps a lot

My ovulation pain is usually just light cramping that goes on and off. Sometimes I get back pain but not very often. Everyone's different though :)
