My ex husband and I got divorced for this very reason. After 8 years together, he changed his mind and no longer wanted anymore children. Unfortunately, I feel there is no compromise in this. I couldn't make him have a child that he didn't want. Nor was I going to give up the one thing in life that is most important to me - motherhood. So we went our seperate ways. It was definitely the hardest decision I've ever had to make but now, a year later, I am in a very healthy relationship and we are TTC. So keep your chin up. Everything happens for a reason!

My husband changed his mind right after I finally got into see an infertility specialist and went through a crap load of tests. I was pretty pissed , and there was a good bit of arguing and years. I finally just decided to let it go, that it wasn't worth ruining my marriage over. And a couple months later he changed his mind again. Maybe your guy is just freaked out give him some time discuss pros and cons and don't nag him about it or sulk (I'm ashamed to admit I sulked over it and was really resentful and it made things even worse) and he may come around again.
