Question

Can having sex to young ( I'm almost 16) hurt you future. My mum told me once if you have sex to young you can have problems later when you want kids? I'm not a virgin and I'm in a serious relationship with my boyfriend (we have been together nearly 4 months) I'm not on any birth control but I think I really need to be, I also have heard that birth control can also make problems. I don't want any problems because one day I want heaps of kids. Help anyone!

Hi :) First of all, four months isn't a very long relationship, so I would suggest waiting until you've been dating for a bit longer. I'd say, especially since you're younger, that you should wait a least nine months into your relationship. That's just my opinion, but I think it would be a very good idea for you. That's what I did when I was sixteen.

​I don't believe having sex as a sixteen-year-old will cause problems with trying to conceive in the future. As long as you are being responsible, and using protection, you should be fine.

Hi, i suggest waiting. I waited until i was 18 & with my guy for a year. Almost graduated before i had sex. 
​Birth control can cause problems, i have pcos due to the depo-provera shot. It was a horrible decision for me. I have been ttc for 2.5 almost 3 years. And i am having a lot of problems, i just recently decided to give up ttc.
