So a couple of years ago I had what I believe is a chemical pregnancy, I found out I was pregnant before my period was due and then my period came a few days late. My doctor was a complete bi*ch to me and said something along the lines of ‘you were never pregnant, it was just a fertilized egg that never implanted then just came out’ which I never questioned, fair enough I’m pretty sure that’s what a chemical pregnancy is anyway? But the last few days I’ve been thinking that hcg is only produced once the egg has implanted, so how come I was getting strong positives if the egg had never implanted? Surely I wouldn’t have been producing hcg to get positives? So confused!!
