I'm 18, my SO will be 38 the 2nd of next month. We've been together for almost 7 months. 
He fixed all the parts of me that the last guy f**cked up. He got me to stop drinking, stop smoking weed, and stop taking pills within a week of being together. I wrecked my truck drunk driving the night we met. I kept drinking after that, and taking percocets to numb the pain caused by the accident. I was still smoking weed for 2 days after we met. Then I found out he didn't like it, so I quit. I have been 100% sober for over 6 months now. I'm so proud of that accomplishment. He got me a job and he treats me right. 
He might be old enough to be my father, but when my dad was in the hospital he was the first person I called, the first person to jump out of bed at 10pm and come meet me, and spent $500 in hotel rent to keep me within 15 minutes of the hospital at all times for a week. I don't care if our age gap bothers others. That man is the best man I've ever met, and he's the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.

I voted no because if it's someone who's underage then yes it's a huge deal. But if you're of age then it really doesn't matter. A 15 or 16 year old with a 20 or 21 year old is wrong in my opinion. But 18 and 25 doesn't matter etc. So to me, age is just a number once you're legally an adult. But before that, age is definitely more than just a number.

Age is life experience. Its the amount of time you have spent on this earth and ALOT happens in just one year! Look back to who you were two years ago, five, ten. I'm sure you'll see very significant changes because we are always growing! It doesn't mean it can't work between two people with different life experience but age DOES matter.

It all depends on what age we are talking about here...  I think an age gap of up to 7 years is ok... Anything above that is a case by case type of thing... You don't want to be with someone who is old enough to be your father, in my book that's gross

I dont think it does.. I have been with older men that act younger than me and young men that act older. ... I am 25 and my man just turned 40.... and... at 40 I think men are going through this "I feel 21-25 again"  so it evens out lol! It just depends on ur likes I guess lol

It depends on how much of an age difference. I don't want to be a widow 40 yr old. That means I wouldnt date more that say 10 years older than myself. I want to grow old with whoever were my partner.

I'm 29, my husband is 23. But I honestly feel like he is the one who is older. I forget until someone asks! I think it depends on the person.
