Should restaurants be more careful?

We all know that these days there are so many different lifestyles and diets out there. From plant based to paleo and everything in between.

I’m not sure if everyone knows this but you can order vegan pizza at a few of the chains in America. You really just have to ditch the cheese and make sure the crust is vegan. (Other countries have vegan cheese 😭)

Well every time I order a pizza, there is always something non vegan on it. Which is no biggie? I just pick it off and throw it away. This has also happened to me at more expensive restaurants, so it’s not just fast food places.

But it got me thinking about people with allergies. For me, what I eat is a choice. But for others, just a small amount of their allergen can be very dangerous. So should restaurants be more careful when preparing food for their customers or should people with specific diets and allergies just eat at home to avoid these things?
