why does my boyfriend get so mad?

My boyfriend is 19 and I'm 16 but he gets so jealous. We argue over alot of things.  How can I prevent arguing? He doesn't let me talk to other guys and he doesn't talk to girls but,  he always thinks I am. How can I help calm his temper or reassure him there's nothing going on?

My boyfriend is like this too sometimes. You can't really fix the jealousy since this is a trait that he has. Either you have to be very patient with him and show your love to him even more or you end it. If the jealousy gets to the point where he forbids you to talk to people though that's not good. You need to sit down with your boy and discuss your feelings of this jealousy and anger because you shouldn't put up with being told what to do and have fights over things that he is jealous of. Take him out sometime to dinner, just you and him and talk about the things you love about each other; romantic and part of a healthy relationship! He most likely will forget about this jealousy and it'll just be the two of you.
