I'm not sure where to post this so I will post it here. Five days ago, I got blessed with a beautiful 10lb 8.5 oz, 23 inch long niece named Araya Nicole. At first she seemed so healthy and full of life but that was not to be. She was delivered by c section and right after birth she was crying and fairly happy. By the time they moved my sister and niece to their room however, she had stopped breathing and her blood pressure and blood sugar were very high. She was put on a ventilator to keep her going. She was moved the next day to a children's hospital into the neonatal intensive care unit for further treatment. Last night we found out that our little princess has an aortic dissection (tear in the aorta) along with liver failure and blood clots completely blocking the arteries leading to her kidneys and intestines. They started her on heprin then. This morning we found out her brain is bleeding. We are sad and broken hearted as it appears that the little one we waited so long on is trying to leave us. Please pray for our family and my precious little Araya to get better.
