Bikini laser hair removal

Seriously I'm so tired of putting myself through bikini waxing every month and shaving gave me the worst rash and itch. My husband likes it clean and to be honest me too. But I feel a little scared lasering down there (I did underarms and it works fine). Has anyone done it and should I do it?
