So, I'll start off by saying in April of 2017 I moved in a co-worker of mine, and we became really good friends who were there for each other and I could count on her for anything until she introduced me to her friend she knew for a while, and he called himself "B" although I knew his name was Brandon which he didn't want anyone but my friend knowing his real name, she told me anyways. We were planning a trip to vegas and I needed a fake I.D because I wasn't 21 & I wanted to go out clubbing (I know a bad idea) and she said he would be willing to pay for both of those as long as I paid him back which I was planning on doing if he did pay for them anyways fast foward a few weeks I mentioned it once or twice to him but I wasn't really pressing the issue. A few things happened with me and my friend so we both moved out and stopped talking for 2 1/2 months then all the sudden when we reconnected she mentioned he friend was looking for me because I owed him money for the fake I.D & the plane ticket to vegas which I never received or heard about it in those 2 1/2 months we weren't talking. He kept sending me threatening text messages and phone calls and also he was saying he was going to come find me at a few of my family member places because she told him a few places where my family lives & even she told him where my boyfriend lived. I never really took them serious until one night I was at my now ex boyfriend house, I was sitting at home on the couch with our 3 year old & at about 10 at night, I heard 5-10 gunshots go off right outside my boyfriend's door & I know it was B because he was texting me earlier that day & I told him I wasn't going to pay him no money. So I got scared and stupidly gave him $350-400 on two seperate occasions which is way more than enough when I don't owe him anything. A few months go by and I'm starting to receive threatening messages again saying I am dead when he sees me cause I still owe him which scares me to leave my house when I have a 3 year old and I'm currently almost 7 months pregnant with my daughter. He also claims he's suing me in court for the money I said I would pay which I did say that only because I was scared for my life. I highly doubt he will be able to sue because I for one owe nothing and I know about his "sex trafficking business" I should have mentioned this earlier but apparently my friend was prostituting for him to make money which I never knew about until we stopped being friends. I don't know what to do, should I go to the police? I feel so unsafe to leave the house with my babies.
