i posted in the general pregnancy forum yesterday and no responses from anyone with anybexperience with this... i tested positive for toxoplasmosis and have a follow up appointment with an infectious disease dr for more tests on the 29th. my OB was pretty vague about details other than regurgitated stats. from what i can find on the internet, the prognosis is pretty depressing and scary, but i can't find any *actual* accounts of experiences from moms who had tested positive, and how their children faired. i am currently 13+3 and OB is assuming i contracted it just before i got pregnant or somehow durring. any help or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. 💜
