Starting the next pack

I just started the pill for the first time this month and as I was getting closer to the end of my pack I googled when I was suppose to start the next one. I felt very discouraged after reading everything online saying things like “you start as soon as you finish the first pack obviously” or “again, ladies, you need to ask your doctor these questions BEFORE you leave the office” and also “you should know how to read instructions that explain this to you”.

Since when was asking birth control questions something looked down upon? This made me disappointed and no woman should have to feel this way for trying to keep herself safe and healthy.
