Gestational Diabetes

Hello, I’m a FTM, 27 weeks exactly and just got the news I have GD. I’m 31, not overweight, I eat healthy and exercise so this is a complete shock to me. Doing research Ive read about so many complications that can come from GD. Has anyone diagnosed with GD in the past gone on to have healthy full term babies without complications? Obviously going to do everything in my power to follow instructions from doctor and nutritionist but I’m still worried since Ive tried doing everything right up to this point.
