Bad piercing?

Question

Why do I have this little bubble looking thing at the top of my industrial piercing? I got it pierced profesionally about a month ago. Although I got it pierced a while ago, it's still sore up at the top. I'm positive it's because my fiancé would always forget that id have it and he'd always accidentally hurt it. Any ideas?

It's a keloid. Scar tissue. Some people are more prone to them than others. Some have luck with tea tree oil. Mine only went down after taking the piercing out

This is normal ive had my tragus pierced for three years now, but when i first got it done I did experience that, I told to pop it with a needle a fee times which sounds awful but you cant feel a thing, i found that it help as a week later it went i cleaned it daily with salt water and antiseptic spray and believe it or not it worked a treat, as i say ive had mine done three years now and mines completely fine no problems at all x

I got that when I had my dimples pierced !  Then I took em out and it went away! I currently don't have them in because they closed !! I'm so SAD!

Get some saline water and heat in up in he microwave, dip a paper towel in to it and put pressure on your ear and try to squeeze it out. The fluid build up should drain and should the bubble should go down in a few days. I got these a lot with a few piercings I had and that's what my piercer told me to do and they went away within a few days. I would do it a few times a day.

this is common for cartilage piercings. you can get rid of the bubble by simply cleaning it w| alcohol & then mixing a non coated aspirin & bactine into a thin paste & coating the area w| a thin layer. i pierced for a couple of years & it helps a great deal.

My suggestion is to go to a different piercer. It's common for cartilage piercings to have that type of bubbling effect. they'll be able to tell you whether the piercing was done correctly or incorrectly or if maybe the jewelry is just too tight

Looks like a hypertrophic scar. It's common for cartilage piercings. You can look up home remedies that may help reduce the size or you may have to go to a dermatologist to help completely heal it :\

I've had this on nearly every thick cartilage piercing I've had! If you can get hold of any fusidin cream (anti funagal- it's not a fungal infection or anything like that but it helps!) and keep it clean, just don't take it out! It's called a keloid and it's just a build up of tissue x

I had that happen when I got my nose pierced. Vitamin E oil cleared mine up in about a week

No idea what it is, but, both my best friend and I had one after getting the tops of out ears pierced. It was sore for quite a while at the beginning. We both had them for about a year, but it did go away.
