I look pregnant?
I went to church and I was carrying my daughter, and she tends to slip with her dress and mine, so I stand sticking out a bit because I’m trying to keep her up. When it was done, a lady asked me if I was pregnant and starting touching my belly. It took me by surprise that someone would tell me that, let alone touch my stomach without asking. I didn’t even know how to react and said no, I explained I was standing a certain way so my baby wouldn’t slip and that’s why my stomach looks like it’s sticking out but my dress is flowy so you can’t tell from behind. She insisted and thought I was kidding, but I said no I’m not. She compared me to her daughter and told me that since she had 3 babies back to back, she thought I was also pregnant. I know she probably didn’t mean to say it in a bad way or to hurt me, but it did. I had to try so hard not to break down and start crying right there and then. This is the first time this happens to me and I’m already struggling with my post baby body. Has this happen to anyone else? How did you handle it?
