Would you swim when TTC?

I love swimming and don't want to give it up while TTC. Have you ladies heard of any correlation between the two?

Swimming is one of the safest/best exercises when ttc or when pregnant, I love swimming, I live on an island though and just got back from the beach lol

You can't pause your life when trying to conceive. Or else you could be not living for a year or more! Swimming should be completely fine, up until you get pregnant then speak with your doctor. In regards to sperm, they reAch where they're going within seconds, regardless of what's happening outside your vagina! Good luck! Xx

I teach swimming lessons and am ttc. What I've been told: as long as the water temp is not above your body temp (like a hot tub) then you should be fine. I hope that's the case!

I personally dont think it will... you gotta figure, by the time you BD and then go swimming, the swimmers are already up into your uterus and fallopian tubes, and I know that water can get inside, but I dont think it will go THAT far.

moderate exercise is very important. especially if you swin reguraly do not change that sport habitt because you are Ttc. only after a BFP you should check with Obg how to practice sport!

I would swim. It's a wonderful exercise. I think the benefits of swimming outweigh the risk!

Just stay out of the hot tub.  (Public ones are so gross anyway - as a former lifeguard, I've got stories!)
