I sent my husand to the store for butternut squash to make baby food but this doesn’t look like AT ALL the squash in the recipe!!!! It’s not even yellow or orange inside. Wth is this?! (I don’t know my squashes or never cooked with it)

That is a summer squash. Very similar to zucchini. You could probably still make baby food out of it, just don't need to cook it as long.
