Can dogs sense pregnancy?

Question

I have a 1 year old pom/poodle mix (who’s btw always been too hyper) but all of the sudden crying a lot & wanting to be around me. He follows me EVERYWHERE & just sits besides me while I’m cooking, or doing my hair or make up. 
Can dogs sense pregnancy or is this just a coincidence?

Yes they can definitely sense it. For months my staffy hasn’t been all that interested in me unless it’s dinner, he just wanted the ball and my housemate to throw it. In the week before I found out I was pregnant he was seeking my attention, would sit beside me just looking at me and follow me everywhere. It’s weird but they know!

I really think so. Our two Great Danes seem like completely different dogs, super loving, wanting to cuddle more. When they wanted attention in the past they would climb all on me, now they just rest their head on my lap 💕 they’ve even gotten more cuddly with my hubby. Usually they know he means PLAY!!!

YES! They can smell hormone changes early on. My dog gets super cuddly. He’s a massive sook. 
At the beach yesterday a GIANT German Shepherd nuzzled at my tummy - the owners were really surprised since he’s not a sooky dog at all.
