Engorgement tips?

This is my third time nursing but I can’t seem to remember besides warm compresses and expressing.... how do I get relief? My milk came in yesterday and my boobs feel like exploding! I’ve been pumping some but I feel like it doesn’t really help. When baby nurses it’s STILL rock hard after a full feeding!

Hand express it a little! I know you said you tried it, but right now it’s really important not to do anything extra to your supply. Mostly because the milk works on a supply/demand basis. Which is why it’s so important to feed your baby on demand instead of on a set schedule. 
So, when you pump after feeding your baby, you’re telling your body to make even *more* milk! Which is the problem in the first place. Hang in there, mama! It’s so worth it.

I did everything the internet said warm compresses before for let down, cool after for swelling, ibprophen for swelling, nursing every 2 hours, pumping for 10 mins to get relief (but remember this is your body trying to figure out how much to make so if you pump to much you could end up with over supply and still being g engorged fort the tone being) or before nursing for latch, had lacation consultant check latch, and stil was very engorged.  It took a week or so to get relief. Just hang in there, I know you are miserable now but it does get better.

I found when using heat compress on my engorged boobs I wasn't getting any relief, so instead I used special nursing  ice packs. and omg what a huge difference it made.

cabbage leaves were a life saver for me!  i kept my cabbage in the fridge so they were cool, and it felt AMAZING.

Try cabbage leaves after nursing for 30 min with cool compress as well. It’s a lot in your shirt but might be helpful!
Just don’t overdo it with cabbage leaves cause they can decrease your supply
