Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a secondary sensory or cognitive pathway. Basically, when I'm having sex with my husband my senses get overwhelmed they get sent across a different brain pathway to the part of my brain that controls colors and shapes, resulting in an amazing color-show in my head. I was explaining what my last one looked like and he said I should think about painting them as a sort of abstract art piece. Other examples of synesthesia is reading different letters and seeing different colors for those letters, or seeing the same sort of color fireworks while listening to music. Would anyone be interested in seeing an art instilation like that?

So, the other night (after a particularly amazing round of sex) I was talking with my husband about how I have these weird sensory experiences while I am building up to and experiencing an orgasm. These experiences only happen with my husband, not when I'm alone. I was explaining how when I'm  going through the build up (I generally always have my eyes closed) I experience amazing bouts of intense colors and shapes exploding and dancing in my head. And these colors and shapes change depending on if he is doing something different. So, I was asking him if he thought that was weird, he of course said no and I decided to ask Google haha. Well, I learned something new! Apparently, there is thing called, synesthesia.

I've had that, it's crazy sometimes I feel like I'm on a train and there are sparks of electricity. Others I see the colours of peacock feathers.

I would love to have it for a day but not for the rest of my life.
I think that people who have this are very unique.
Like how crazy is it to taste letters and nunber and to smell colors. Its like their senses are all mixed up.

I have it but it’s super manageable so I luckily with super loud sounds/music I dont end up out of commission for a while like one of my friends.

No and I don't really want it. I already feel like I have it when I accidentally take my ADHD medicine with coffee in the morning. 😂😂
