Rotating toys!

Khyrstin • I am happily 👫 with 👧🏼3, 👶🏼19mo, 👼🏼 July 2017, and 🤰🏻due 3/9/20.

Does anyone else rotate toys? I have been doing it for awhile and I absolutely love it!

My daughter has maybe 10 toys that always stay out in her room and in our living room, but the rest I rotate.

I have 7 bins that are divided up with all different toys (I mix up sensory and developmental toys), and once a week we pack everything up and get a new bin. She gets so excited to see different toys, and I swear it helps keep her attention throughout the week. She got a play kitchen for Christmas and I even switch out food (she has a baking set, a pizza set, fruits/veggies, sushi set, etc).

We have only opened maybe 3 of 20 toys she got for Christmas, and when we need a change of pace we introduce a new toy. Obviously this only works at her age, that won’t fly next year 🤣

I also have a big activity bin (stickers, paint, coloring stuff, bubbles, sponges (water or paint), etc AND one for each season/holiday (Fall, Christmas, winter, Valentine’s Day, etc) with stickers, crafts, etc.

Yes I have to be very organized, but I love not having toys EVERYWHERE lol

I had some mommy friends over the other day and couldn’t believe how I do it, so I wanted to share and see if I’m the only one who does it?!?!
