Jealous over a pandora ring

Okay, so before I say anything I feel stupid for even feeling like this over a silly ring.

I love my little sister (she’s 12) and would do anything for her but I’ve always felt that she’s had quite an easy life. When I was younger my step mum (her mum) made me do chores to earn my pocket money as you’d expect. Made sure we did everything right and not talk back. Her motto is “when you’re 7 I’ll talk to you, when you’re 17 I’ll have a conversation with you and when you’re 27 I’ll listen to you”. My sister gets pocket money doesn’t do any chores, often swears and always talks back.

Just before Christmas I showed her a ring from pandora that I loved and wanted but it was quite expensive so I didn’t ask for it. She has now asked for the exact same ring for her birthday next week and is getting it.

Can anyone help me get over or at least ease my jealousy as she’s going to be parading it round the house.
