diy boudoir shoot for my husband?

so for Valentine's day for my husband I was wanting to do a diy boudoir shoot for him since I don't have money for a pro. plus I have like zero body confidence in my self since my daughter was born and it seems like the more I try to lose weight the more I gain. so I guess in a sense it's for me as well.
but I can't seem to find the right lighting, angles....ext. 
can you ladies please give me some tips and advice on how to do so????

Natural lighting is always the most flattering. Avoid direct light like a flash...if you have a lamp or some other brighter light, you can diffuse it with a bed sheet or something. I’m just thinking as a photographer how I would light someone and what I would use around the house lol Fluorescent lighting is always unflattering. You want to try to light yourself from the front so you don’t have a bunch of shadows on your face, etc.

Do you have a close girlfriend that you trust to take the photos so they come out a little better?? It's difficult, likenyour said, to get the angles you're looking for

Find a piece of lingerie that you like and that makes you feel confident/comfortable! Highlight the part of your body that makes you feel the best (ie: wear a push-up if you love your boobs). Do your hair nicely and wear makeup. Use a photo editing app to add filters etc. Mostly, just keep snapping pics till you get some that you’re happy with!! 😊
