How to prepare for a baby due in the Summer????????

What is the must haves for a baby born in the summer time?????

My 1st was born in mid July and really you don't need much different than any other month. It's to hot to have baby out a lot anyway. I stocked up on onsies, and thin long sleeves and pants to protect her skin from the sun. Little sun hats and plenty of baby wash cloths. If you are going to be out a lot and are breastfeeding you'll need ice packs to keep milk good. I stayed in as much as possible and had the air on so she wore onsies or normal little outfits. Plenty of lotion to keep their skin from drying but that's for any month.

Anything cotton. It's breathable and light and nice. Hats and sunscreen and you can get a bathing suit and go swimming. But pretty much everything you'd get normally but summer clothes.

Lots of onsies and layers.  You still want some sort of long sleeve or sweater in case there is a chilly day or evening but something that can easily be removed if it gets too hot.
