When did you or do you plan to start introducing potty training?

I bought my daughter a potty when she was somewhere between 14 and 17 months. It sits in our bathroom and every time I go, she comes in with me and sits on it. (clothed). I clap for her and say 'yaaaaayyy! Look at mommy and Claire going potty! She loves it! We'll get more serious about it when she nears 2, but I see no harm in introducing it early as long as you're not forcing it.

We waited till my son was about 33 months old...that was way too long lol I don’t recommend waiting that long cuz it has taken much longer than we planned/hoped. We did the 3 day potty training method and it has taken significantly longer than that.

I heard when you do it too young they can see it as a game and won’t take it seriously when they are actually ready but I don’t know cause this is my first and he’s only 13 months of course no signs of potty training yet except he follows me to the bathroom and I’ll say it’s potty time and he gets real excited but not ready yet

My daughter started showing signs of wanting to potty train at 16 months old but she turned 2yrs old in Nov and still is no where near being potty trained. She sits on her potty, makes the pee pee noise, asks for toilet paper and wipes front to back, stands up and pretends to flush but she only does it with her clothes on. If I take her clothes off she’ll sit on the potty for like 30 secs ten runs away.
