Too much?

Question

I've been having braxton hicks lately, but how many is too many before contacting my doctor? I never had them this early with my son, so it's a little "new" to me.

I've been having them about 2-3 min apart for the last hour and a half. I sooooo don't want to go to l&d for no reason but I'm nervous at the same time 😁

I'm 24 weeks expecting twins, & I have two kids. Ive been getting them a lot ever since 17 weeks, I get them everyday, & I'm on my feet a lot between the kids, & working part time plus appts & errands, ect. I get them all through the day, they are super uncomfortable, & mixed with the round ligament pains, & pains in my ribs from everything being pushed up is making them worse. I notice I get then even worse when I'm on my feet too much, I worry about preterm labor also especially cause I'm having twins, & it's hard to distinguish them from real contractions. I never felt Braxton hicks with my other two pregnancies, so it's all new to me. As many as I get & as strong as they are I really thought I was gonna go preterm labor a few times, but so far I haven't thank god!!

I get them pretty often too. I asked my OB about it and he said sit down, put your feet up, and drink some water. If after an hour of that they haven't stopped or they increase in intensity,  then call the office or go to the hospital. 
They make me nervous since I've had two preterm labors. But so far he's been right about them just being a matter of I need to slow down and stay hydrated.

I get them any time I'm up and moving, but I can't stop moving because I've got a 7 year old and my job requires lots of moving. I think water until my eyeballs are floating in it, so I don't think that's the problem. Maybe I'll just call my doc on Monday, just to be safe. Thanks for the response. :)

I get them constantly. My doctor said to go in to get checked out if I have more then 6 contractions per hour while resting or if there is any pain with the contractions.

Tons of water helps a lot. I've been drinking nearly a gallon of water per day for the past week. I get a few contractions here and there.. Mostly at night when I am tired.
