Do you wash your dished with hot water or cold?

I've always washed the dishes with hot water because I was taught that it helps kill germs, but my boyfriend washed his dishes with cold.

See I wash my dishes with really hot water but then I rinse them with cold 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just find I like the feeling of them being rinsed again and being squeaky clean

I rinse them off in room temperature water then put them in the dishwasher. Soap is what kills germs, not the temperature of your water

So I did not see a dishwasher option till I about voted lol I voted dishwasher but I would do my dishes in hot water if for some reason my dishwasher didn’t wash them the first time

I soak them in a dishpan of hot water, it helps loosen gunk up for easy cleaning. Sudsy sponge wiping and rinse with warm or cool water.

I might rinse with cold before putting them in the dishwasher. But I don’t feel like a dish can get really clean with cold water.
