Birth control making my period less tolerable?

Im on the minipill and have been for about 2ish months and I’ve noticed that my periods are more painful and making me more exhausted. Has anyone else ever experienced that or is it just in my head?

Usually progestin only pills won't help your periods as much compared to the combo pill. this isn't the case for everyone but it's more likely.

Mini pill was absolutely horrible to my body. Wait it out one more month before deciding to switch.

I experienced the worst PMS on it.  Nausea and horrible cramps.  My periods were not bad before.  Not to mention the fact that my periods were sometimes normal length.  Sometimes longer.  They’d come earlier than expected.  I used them for about 10 months and my periods never really regulated.  I stopped early December.
